If you are looking for guidance, support or help in a particular area of your life, I may be able to help. 

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor with a specialty in Gambling Use Disorder in the state of New York, and I have been helping people find solutions to their troubles since 2004.

In private practice I work with a range of clients, ideally those who are in a life transition stage, those who are contemplating their issues with addiction, or those who have been in recovery from mental illness or addiction for some time and feel stuck. I have a particular affinity towards parents of young adults struggling with any of the above.

I work well with people who are struggling with their own self-worth, who are shame-oriented and who are interested in gaining more insight into themselves and their behaviors.  Issues typically range from anxiety/depression, substance use disorders and issues of grief and loss to a variety of relationship issues.
