Introduction to DBT: Foundations, Principles, Application

Please join us for an introduction to DBT on Saturday, Sept 18th and Sunday Sept 19th.

We will be exploring the origins of DBT, getting a deeper understanding of the 4 modules, and learning how to implement it in your own practice.

Lexi Mulee, MA, LMHC, CASACT,  is a licensed mental health clinician in the state of New York and specializes in areas of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and applying it with populations including substance use disorders, eating disorders and borderline personality disorders.Lexi is the founder of Wise Mind Individual Counseling, maintains a private psychotherapy practice. She got her undergraduate degree at Hofstra University and pursued her graduate degree at the University of Miami. Lexi has been in the field for over 7 years and works extensively with each client to ensure their personalized goals are being met. Having both experiences of working at the inpatient level of care and the outpatient level of care, Lexi works uniquely with each client to ensure that their treatment is never once size fits all, but rather personalized for each individual’s needs and strengths. It is the DBT belief, and Lexi’s personal style, to view the relationship between client and clinician as equal partners in your journey. As if both are in a rowboat, rowing in sync towards your goals!
