Using Cognitive Behavioral Skills to Reshape Feelings, Thoughts and Behaviors

In Person CE Presentation!

While therapy is an effective means in helping clients change unhelpful behaviors, those of us who are not clinical professionals, but who have the most contact with clients, are often in need of some additional tools to help them through real life issues. This presentation will address CBT Skills that professionals can use while not in a therapy room.

Ashley Hampton is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Director at Domus Kids in Stamford, CT. She specializes in implementing strategies rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy across programming and conducts clinical supervision for all youth-facing staff. Her work includes recognizing and addressing trauma among underserved and underrepresented populations. Ashley delivers trainings concerning trauma-responsive models, neuroplasticity, cognitive development in children and adolescents, and wrap-around practices.
