In Person CE Presentation!
While therapy is an effective means in helping clients change unhelpful behaviors, those of us who are not clinical professionals, but who have the most contact with clients, are often in need of some additional tools to help them through real life issues. This presentation will address CBT Skills that professionals can use while not in a therapy room.
OBJECTIVES
At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1) Understand the difference between CBT skills and CBT therapy
2) Identify negative thoughts, feelings and behaviors in individuals
3) Name 2 skills to address unhelpful thoughts to reshape new and helpful ones
