Intervention Skills for Substance Use Disorder

This course offers practical guide on how to perform an intervention. It will detail the history of interventions, go over different modalities and practice using the Invitational Method of intervention.

Jonathan is Board Certified, has a B.A. in Psychology and received his Masters in Social Service from Fordham University. Jonathan is a Licensed Social Worker, a Substance Abuse Counselor, and a Certified Intervention Professional. He is very active with the Association of Intervention Specialists (AIS) and is currently serving as treasurer of the association. He is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

This presentation is designed for professionals and social workers at all levels who are committed to professional growth and enhancing their practice. Whether you're a newly licensed social worker seeking foundational knowledge, an experienced practitioner looking to refine your skills, or a clinical or non-clinical professional aiming to stay current with best practices and ethical standards, this program offers valuable learning opportunities.
