ABOUT THE PRESENTER:

Suzanna Narducci, LCSW is a therapist in private practice in NYC and Connecticut. Suzanna received her MSW from New York University and training at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies. Suzanna is a Level III AEDP therapist and uses Polyvegal Theory and Internal Family Systems Therapy to counsel adults and couples with trauma histories. She helps clients regulate all types of anxiety and develop a deep understanding of their emotional selves, to allow healing, develop stronger connections, and strengthen psychological resilience.

·       Have a basic understanding of Polyvagal Theory and the autonomic nervous system’s impact on anxiety

·       Distinguish between the different emotional states caused by the autonomic nervous system

·       Understand how clients can use adaptive action tendencies and the recognition of underlying feelings to relieve anxiety

·       Name 3 tools to help clients self-regulate their anxiety
