In this webinar, Forge Health is hosting a panel of esteemed experts from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Northwell Health, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to talk about how chronic pain is more than just a physical ailment, it profoundly impacts mental well-being. Together, Xavier Jimenez, MD, Craig Blinderman, MD, MA, FAAHPM, Guy Maytal, and Michelle Jacobo, PhD, will delve deep into the intricate relationship between chronic pain and mental health. Their combined expertise promises invaluable insights into understanding the complexities of chronic pains impact on patients lives, mentally and physically.

OBJECTIVES

At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:

1) Understand the variety of causes and types of chronic pain people can experience.

2) Discuss the emotional and psychological effects of chronic pain on clients – both those with

and without preexisting mental health conditions.

3) Provide clinical approaches and tools to help clients with chronic pain cope more effectively

with the impact of chronic pain.
