DBT Made Simple

Please join us for a 1-Day DBT Workshop!

This one-day webinar provides mental health professionals with an introduction to Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), an evidence-based approach for treating a range of mental health conditions. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of DBT’s foundational principles, key therapeutic strategies, and practical skills for effective implementation in clinical practice. Through engaging presentations and interactive discussions, attendees will learn to apply DBT concepts to support clients with emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and mindfulness. By the end of the webinar, participants will be well-equipped to begin integrating DBT techniques into their therapeutic work and promoting lasting change for their clients.

Alexa Mulee, MA, LMHC, C-DBT is a licensed mental health clinician in the state of New York who specializes in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, specifically in applying it to substance use disorders, eating disorders, and borderline personality disorders. She is the owner of Wise Mind Counseling, LLC where she provides weekly DBT groups and individual psychotherapy sessions.

3) Understanding how to validate clients' experiences, manage therapist burnout, and navigate therapeutic impasses within the DBT framework.
